In this case, you are still eligible to return to the USA from Delhi or any other state or country, and that too at any time, as long as you obtain the necessary visa. Acquiring a new visa within a week of overstaying on a previous visit, on the other hand, will be more difficult because you will need to demonstrate to the foreign diplomat that you might not overstay your visa again.
