- Along with your partner if they are in Australia you must stay in Canberra for at least 6 months.
- must have fluent English to those in the professional group 1 or 2 ANZSCO occupation.
- Three additional work criteria must be meet in addition you must be working in Canberra for at least 6 months.
- an “open” status on the list of Your occupation has ; or
- your occupation can be either “open” or “closed” status on the list; If you hold a 457 or 482 visa working for an ACT employer or
- Your nominated occupation can have either an “open” or “closed” status on the list; you can be working in any occupation (not restricted to any list). If you have lived in Canberra for at least 5 years.
Updates for Subclass 417 and 462 Visa
