You first must submit a Register of Interest in order to be considered a Sydney and Canberra professional visas nomination (ROI). We choose candidates in Sydney and Canberra visas nomination based on the data you supply in the Skill Select external website EOI and ROI.
A ROI is not a nomination request for the Sydney and Canberra visas.
To be chosen to reapply for the 2022–23 programme, one should submit a fresh ROI if you submitted one during the 2021–22 programme.
Until it has been withdrawn, chosen, or the programme year comes to a conclusion, your ROI will be available for selection in our system. The deadline for submitting a ROI is Friday, 5 May 2023.
In comparison to prior years, the ROI forms for the 2022–23 programme is significantly shorter. This is due to the fact that while determining your ROI, we also take into account the data in your SkillSelect EOI. Your EOI must always be accurate and up to date.
ROIs will be chosen in selection rounds form August 2022 to May 2023.
